Kaizen Wirral Mindset CiC

The Blended Approach to Physical, Mental Health, Wellness, and Wellbeing

95% of everything we do as human beings is driven by our subconscious brain and hormonal release.

Primary emotions, state management and stress responses are the key elements which shape our actions every day

Thoughts create feelings, feelings create emotions, emotions creature reactions and reactions dictate behaviour.

Our Philosophy

Stress and vulnerabilities are two of the biggest contributors to poor mental health. When stress compounds, it can lead to distress, anxiety, and depression, which without the correct strategies, can potentially lead to mental ill-health.

At Kaizen Wirral Mindset CiC, we deliver holistic, blended solutions, integrating physical training with mental well-being strategies to help you build strength, balance, capacity, and resilience.

Our Mission is to

Educate, inspire, and empower individuals, coaching them onto their own journey to improved wellness, well-being and happiness.

Through structured physical training and mental health strategies, we help you navigate the Routes to Wellness & Dimensions of Wellbeing so you can better control your mind, body, and emotions.

"We grow through what we go through."

    Circle of Control

    HIT TRE

    Wellness Webs

    Nervous System Education

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming is a pseudoscientific approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy

There is a connection between the differing aspects to Neuro – the brain, linguistics – our use of language, and patterns of behaviour.

The conscious and the unconscious mind that uses built in learnt behaviour or auto pilot for example (driving a car) can all be done pretty much without thought or effort, a second nature however we can also develop built in ingrained poor behavioural traits that may be undone via NLP coaching practise.

NLP modelling can be used to treat challenges such as

    Phobias

    Depression

    Tic Disorders

    Psychosomatic Illnesses

    Allergies

    Learning Disorders

    Habit change.

Fit in body, fit in mindset

    No health without mental health

We grow through, what we go through.

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy is a psychosocial, problem focused and action orientated intervention that aims to improve mental health.

CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions such as

    Limiting beliefs

    Values

    Attitudes

    Behaviours

Improving emotional regulation and the development of personal coping strategies that resolve the current challenges.

Thoughts create feelings, feelings create emotions, emotions elicit response, response gap gives us choice, choice of more rational and logical strategies can be the difference between cause and effect, and reduce the risk of a break down of communications.

  • The practice or act of mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware, it is a mental state achieved by focusing on the awareness of the present moment, whilst calmly acknowledging and accepting our feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Often connected to Spiritualistic practises, and although I would agree to a point its more about your own intuitions

Your instincts and senses all working simultaneously to assist you into personal situational awareness.

We have 3 inbuilt human instincts the head, the heart, and the gut instinct

We have 5 prominent human senses in Sight, Hearing, Scent, Taste and Touch

Be in the moment. it is so easy in our busy daily routines to be multi-tasking all the time, next time you make a cup of tea or coffee just simply do this as a solo task, don’t wash the dishes whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, don’t have the phone of speaker whilst attempting to wash the dishes and speak to the bank manager all at once! STOP and be in the moment, this would be the perfect opportunity to use a breathing technique.

Acceptance, this one word can assist internally in your ability to respond or indeed not respond to a Stressful event, either at all or at least until you have had the ability to digest something and assess your response from the adult brain not the inner child.

Gratitude, the attitude of gratitude, being capable and thankful for all that you do have in your life.

Meditation, a simple act of stillness for a duration of time that to the uninitiated can be quite daunting.

There are lots of different ways to meditate either on your own or in group led sessions, online apps, and guided meditations on You tube, however I would invite anybody and everybody no matter or race, religion, or creed to practise the act of meditation, it has changed my life and it could change yours.

Exercise, of any form from full contact mixed martial arts to Yoga the benefits of which are better physical conditioning and better mental clarity more so the endorphin release that we receive from physical activity such as Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, even a gentle walk will increase your Wellbeing.

Breathwork, the art of controlled breathing exercises and techniques performed to increase mental, physical, and spiritual Wellbeing.

Poly vagal activation, the Vagus nerve is the 10th cranial nerve in the human body, and this can be trained like a muscle to assist in the passage of neurological information from the base of the brain to the rest of the body including all organs, limbs, and the peripheral nervous system.

Sound bath is a musical healing performance played with vibrational instruments such as Himalayan singing bowls, participants lay on the floor and allow the waves of sound to wash over them calming the nervous system and bringing balance back to the energetic body.

Sound bathing works both physical and spiritual body and helps with physical injuries, healing depression, Anxiety, Chronic pain, and insomnia to name just a few of the benefits.

At Kaizen Wirral Mindset CiC, we believe:

Fit in body, fit in mindset

No health without mental health

We grow through what we go through

If ignorance is bliss, self awareness is the truth
